Program Description:
This league is a youth softball league for girl’s ages 7-12 years old. The divisions will be: Darlings (ages 7-8), Angels (ages 9-10) and Ponytails (ages 11-12). The age cutoff date is August 1, 2020. Each player will receive a regular season uniform set including jersey, pants, belt & socks. Each player is required to play two consecutive defensive innings and at least one at bat.

Jamboree & Picture Day:
• Saturday, March 28 at Springdale Recreation Complex (260 S. Plantation Road, Lancaster, SC 29720)
• All players are required to take group pictures on picture day, but do not have to purchase any group or individual pictures. We use the team pictures to give to our sponsors as a token of appreciation.
• Pictures will be taken inside Springdale Recreation Gym.
• Regular Season Games will begin the week of March 30th.

Team Distribution:
All players will be evaluated and drafted to teams by the coaches each year. Players will not return to the team they played for the previous year and there are no guarantees your child will be placed on the team or with a coach that you request. Due to the way teams are distributed, we can't honor team requests for transportation or any other reasons. Only guarantees are Head Coach's child, one Assistant Coach's child and one Team Sponsor's child. The Head Coach will be allowed a maximum of two trades which must take place the night of the draft.

Player Skill Evaluations:
Evaluations are not tryouts and will consist of various skill-related drills. These evaluations will be used in the draft process to make teams more evenly matched. All registered participants need to attend. Evaluations may not be conducted in an age group/area if there isn’t more than one team. Following evaluations and the draft, you should hear from your coach no later than a week after your child’s evaluation. Practices will begin a week or so following your child’s skill evaluation.

• Lancaster Area- Saturday, February 8th from 2:00pm-3:00 pm at Springdale Rec. Center
• Buford/Heath Springs/Kershaw Areas- Saturday, February 8th from 2:00 pm-3:00 pm at Buford Rec. Center
• Indian Land Area- Saturday, February 8th from 2:00pm-3:00pm at Walnut Creek Park
Angels (ages 9-10)
• Lancaster Area- Saturday, February 8th from 3:00pm-4:00pm at Springdale Rec. Center
• Buford/Heath Springs/Kershaw Areas- Saturday, February 8th from 3:00pm-4:00pm at Buford Rec Center
• Indian Land Area- Saturday, February 8th from 3:00pm-4:00pm at Walnut Creek Park
Ponytails (ages 11-12)

• Indian Land Area- Saturday, February 8th from 4:00pm-5:00pm at Walnut Creek Park

All-Stars:
All-Star players (if chosen) must commit to playing in the District, State and World Series tournaments throughout the summer. The All-Star fee is $40 and includes a new uniform.
